Crochet Assembly Line Projects

The cover of Crochet World for August 2012 has really got me excited. As stated in my previous blog post, I was going to try this pattern and I did. The pattern is a bit labour intensive with the many different elements that make this circle magnificent.

This is my blog so I can say whatever I want... so here it goes. Normally, I would say screw it when a motif is too complex or labour intensive. However, because of the many different looks and this motif being amazing on either side, I am going to push this through this.

Due to the pattern being a bit complex, I have started my crochet assembly line. This allows me to make each component instead of doing each circle by itself and having to fight through the directions. This simply means I can do step one to all motifs, then move to step 2 and so on. Usually I stop when the colour needs to be changed. I am really excited by this pattern. Viewers on Facebook state this pattern is also on Ravelry as well.
