Cheerful Crochet Afghan Challenge

Colour it Your Way!

One lucky crocheter who completes the challenge will receive a Fully Loaded Red Heart Yarn Bag with Crochet Crowd Gifts!

Welcome to spring and now it's time for another afghan challenge. We chose the Rainbow View Afghan because it's really quick and it doesn't require any attaching. It is colourful by nature meaning that it's anyone's choice on the amount of colours they choose to use. If you look closely, it has a pineapple pattern worked into the afghan.

The designer, Roseanna Beck, did a wonderful job in making it easy to follow. There is a repeat pattern that will be extremely helpful to you once you get the pattern into your head.

For this afghan, you will need at least 7 balls of Red Heart Super Saver or Red Heart With Love and/or an equivalent yarn. You will also need your size G or 4.5 mm crochet hook.

The afghan will measure 56" long by 45" wide.

Crochet Mystery Adventure, Week 2 Clues

The Mystery Begins: Week 2 Clues

Rex can run pretty fast; however, he's not extremely fast. He would certainly take the gold medal if running side by side with a human.

It's the second week of clues for the Crochet Mystery Adventure. Today, we are going to give our creature a little lift as he's not a snake. Today, we are going to explore 2 components of our project.

Rex isn't a true accurate picture of a creature. He has a whimsical look to give him the ultra cuteness at the end. We are going to give him legs and ears today.

Let's start to crochet our own versions. Visit Crochet Mystery Guidelines if you have any questions about how to follow along and learn exactly what is involved.

Crochet Mystery Adventure with The Crochet Crowd

The Mystery Begins: Week 1 Clues

Rex is my name, I'm an unusual creature as I am a ruminant.

Let's start a mystery crochet adventure together. Today, we are going to explore 1 component of our project. Just to keep myself organized and stop from slipping up saying what the project is, I'm going to nickname my project as Rex.

I can tell you with 100% certainty that Rex is super adorable and you will be proud of your finished results. You will have to give your creature a name too.

Crochet Flamingo Top Hat

Bring Your Camera! You Will NOT Believe Your Eyes!

For the last 3 months, Crochet Crowders from around the world have been designing their own Alice in Wonderland Top Hats. Our 'Crowd' was given a complimentary Top Hat Pattern that was the basic outline. Once the hat was completed, crocheters were charged with the mission to take the hat and embellish it to have a concept of Alice in Wonderland.

Currently, we have over 200 top hats with each telling a peice of the story of Alice's Adventure. It is jaw dropping to witness the creativity from each and everyone. Everyone pushed themselves to be as creative as possible with free forming, revamping patterns and going above and beyond the expectations. We cannot thank our fans enough for the opportinity to showcase to others to what they are missing.

We will have an outstanding deal on yarn that always creates a a yarn feeding frenzy. We have 18 Brands of Red Heart Yarns + for the 1st time some James C Brett, Schachenmyr and more at prices that will allow you to stock up! We have new yarns that have barely reached into Canada yet. We have brought one brand that isn't available in Canada just to allow Canadians to sample it! Some brands include new colour selections of favourite yarns but also try the new Reflective, Swanky, Sizzle, New Sashay Lines, Sashay Mini and many more. With our Buy Any 5 Items, Get a 6th Item Free, you will be saving a mitt load of cash! Also, the 1st - 300 Purchases that are over $10 will receive a complimentary Red Heart Tote Bag.
