Rainbow Brim Beanie Hat
This hat is relatively simple design using HDC for the main body and brim of the hat. The hat has been designed so the brim folds up and is really bold and magnificent.
Materials Needed:
- Size K or 6.5 MM Crochet Hook
- 1 Ball of Black, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue & Purple. Any of these colour choices can be either Red Heart Super Saver or Bernat Super Value Yarns.
DC = Double Crochet, SL ST = Slip Stitch, BEG = Beginning, HDC - Half Double Crochet
Instructions
- Chain 3 then in the 1st Chain DC 12 Times to form circle. Join with a SL ST
R1: Place stitch marker in to know when you have gone all the way around. 2 SC into the back loop of the first stitch, then 2 DC into the back loops each stitch until you run back into the stitch marker. We will work in a continuous circle so there is no slip stitching that will appear in your beanie.
R2: *1 DC into next stitch, then 2 DC into the next, Repeat from * all the way around. 
R3: *1 DC into the next 2 stitches, then 2 DC into the next, Repeat from * all the way around.
R4: * 1 DC into the next 3 stitches, then 2 DC into the next, Repeat from * all the way around.
R5: *1 DC into the next 4 stitches, then 2 DC into the next. Repeat from * all the way around.
R6 - 16: 1 DC into each.
Finish: Off with 2 SC in a row, then 2 SL ST. Fasten off and weave in ends.
R17 - Fasten on Purple where you fastened off row 16. , 1 HDC into each and SL ST at end. Fasten off and weave in ends.
R18 - Fasten on Blue and repeat R17.
R19 - Fasten on Green and repeat R17.
R20 - Fasten on Yellow and repeat R17.
R21 - Fasten on Orange and repeat R17.
R22 - Fasten on Red and repeat R17.
